Transition Class

This is a class of a small group of young children that are now walking, learning language and developing coordination and skill building. They may not be ready for the older toddler /pre-primary but may be developed beyond the infant stage. Some children may only need to be in this group a few months before moving. Others may be more comfortable and their needs met over a longer period of time in this class. This assesment is done with the parents and the teachers. Most important this class helps the parent to come to a better understanding of the philosophy of Montessori, how the child uses it for development and why it is so beneficial to the young child's learning.

Age:	walking to approximately 2 years
Teacher to Student Ratio:	1 to 4
School Term:	nine months - September to May (Tuesday after Labor Day to the last Friday of May) Summer Camp available - June, July, August
Hours:	Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
