Each summer our camp, "Happy Camper", is planned with activities that will be new for those children who have not previously been in a group program, as well as returning campers. This year will prove no exception and will be filled with new ideas that will stimulate the imagination and creativity of each child.

For children under three years old, the theme is "Thomas Goes to Camp" and will encourage the children to explore their world through age-appropriate art work, music, stories, and other activities.

For campers 3 1/2 and older, the theme is "Planes, Trains, and Other Things". Their experience will focus on computer work, creativity, cooperation and community with special activities in the categories of art, drama, music, team speorts, and service projects.

Campers will be divided into different age groups: Junior campers and Senior campers.

Each of these groups will work together as a team but independently of the other groups. This program is designed to offer enjoyable activities and fellowship for children. We also feel the added personal touch and involvement with each child in the camp is important to our program.

It is our assumption that children who participate in our programs will help to make it successful. If any child exhibits, with regularity, behavior that disrupts planned activities and/or upsets other children or adults, we reserve the right to deny that child further participation in our summer activities.

There will be special beginner and advanced developing sessions in art instruction including drawing and techniques, shading, model drawing, figures and still life. Different materials and media will be included for appropriate ages.

Continuous activities that will occur each week are Arts and Crafts; Age-appropriate water play; Picnics; Field trips; Special visitors with activities; and theme weeks. A monthly calendar will list activities in detail, and it will be displayed in each camper's room.

Fees

There is a $25 registration, insurance and T-shirt fee per application.

Please see the school office if extended day is needed.

If you desire camp only for certain weeks of the summer, you may reserve and pay only for weeks reserved.

Children, after 12:00, bring their lunch each day. Camp will provide a morning snack and milk for lunch.
